Last May, Brunnen was the city chosen to hold the annual meeting of EUSGA, an association formed by companies from all over the world that distribute and manufacture industrial material. This year, the convention had a special factor: The dismissal of its former chairman of the executive committee, Mr. Urs Müller. Müller, who already showed great appreciation for the director of Manatís, Jacqueline Ruiz, at the 2018 convention in Austria, did not hesitate for a second to put the organization of an event so symbolic for him in the hands of Manatís.
In events in which the attendees are international, it is important to coordinate the transportation of the attendees. It is also essential that the programming of these events encourage participants to interact and thus share knowledge and strengthen ties. In fact, and as Jacqueline Ruiz commented, in an article in Travel Manager magazine, face-to-face is very important to really connect with people. For this reason, the work done by Manatís is remarkable, who not only planned three days of presentations, but also entertained him with his exclusive speaker, Lluis Soldevila, who gave a motivational talk on digital transformation. The icing on the cake was a gala dinner, clearly memorable, in which the joy of meeting again and the emotion of dismissing President Urs were mixed.
The success of the convention was reflected in subsequent surveys, the results of which showed that the participants rated the different elements of the event with the highest scores: transportation, presentations, program, dinner, activities, etc. Such is the satisfaction of the executive committee with the Catalan corporate communication consultancy, that Manatís will organize the Lyon 2020 convention.
